We have found the humor, trials, and encouragement in your posts to be bits of light to help us prepare for the change. We will leave for Thailand in October this year. Is the mail reliable there? Hi Jeff and Cheryl! So nice to e-meet you! Mail is fairly reliable for care packages, yes, although I know Denise James over at Taking Route recently tried to bring an American blender to Southeast Asia, and it promptly broke too. C’est la vie, right? 🙂

I need help…I handled an abuse situation all wrong…for so many reasons…it never happened again after I found out but it could have because once he passed a lie detector test…we moved back in together…because my child had a history of fabricating stories I believed the lie detector test BUT over a few years I didnt….and I have apologized for how stupidly I handled the abuse…but my daughter still holds hate in her heart.
Hey there, Melissa. I’m so sorry this happened to you and your family. These types of things are really best dealt with with local people. Is there a pastor or counseling service anywhere close to where you live? Someone you trust who can walk with you through all of this? Again, I wish I could meet with you, because this issue really needs to be discussed face to face. Peace, Jonathan
